Women's Health & Pelvic Floor Coaching

I offer the following options for women's health & pelvic floor education/coaching

  • Free 5 Day Pelvic Floor Course.  This is a great start point for any woman who simply needs to strengthen her pelvic floor.  However, I will also give you an overview of red flags that may indicate you need more help as well as advice on where to go to get that help.

  • One-2-One training/coaching either online or "live/in-person" at Pointe Ahead Pilates, Edinburgh 

  • lifetime access to my expanded online "Adore Your Pelvic Floor program" which includes additional modules on chronic pelvic pain, mindfulness & an expanded 16 week full body conditioning program

  • Live/in-person Adore Your Pelvic Floor program which includes 4 small group pelvic floor safe Pilates studio sessions in conjunction with the above online Adore Your Pelvic Floor" program. 

  • FabOver40.club is a monthly subscription for women looking for community and education to support them through peri menopause and beyond.

Pelvic Floor 101
Free Course

  • This is only a 5 day course but it covers all the basics...  and for many women that is enough.  The course covers

  • Anatomy of the pelvic floor. 

  • Pelvic floor awareness.

  • How to recruit the pelvic floor. 

  • How to relax and release the pelvic floor.

  • The 10-10-3

  • The knack maneuverer.

  • An overview of "pelvic flaws".

  • This is not a comprehensive pelvic floor coaching course.  It will not cover pelvic organ prolapse, urge incontinence or pelvic pain but it will deep dive into the basics... which for many women is enough.

Adore Your Pelvic Floor

This course is in three parts. 

  • 16 week functional training program which consists of 4 short exercise videos each week (64 exercise videos in total) which are designed to gently to take you through the basics of pelvic floor function and building full body stability and mobility to get you back to not only great pelvic floor function but improved overall strength, flexibility and posture.

  • 4 x 60 minute workshops based on the Adore Your Pelvic Floor Program that give you a general overview of the pelvic floor, how it functions as well as what to do when it isn't functioning as you would wish.

  • By putting this course online I have been able to expand on the information I am able to give you in the above workshops by creating additional online videos which deep dive into topics such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, lifestyle hacks to support your pelvic floor and many more.  So You have the option to binge watch the course on your own or to join me in the zoom sessions... or both.  You also have the option to rewatch the videos as many times as you like.

  • This program also includes the following additional modules

  • Return to running with Pelvic Floor Disfunction or prolapse.

  • Strategies for dealing with chronic pelvic pain.

  • This course can either be completed at your own pace online or you have the option to join one of my in person courses in Edinburgh or Haddington.

One-2-One Coaching

  • Women's Health One-2-Ones

  • A One-2-One sessions are for you if:

  • You prefer One-2-One attention.

  • You don't get the attention you need in a group class setting.

  • You have complex rehab issues that require you to work at your own pace. 

  • You are under the supervision of a physiotherapist and need a trainer who will work closely with your physio.

  • You are anxious that you will do the wrong thing in a class or group situation and make things worse.

  • You lack the confidence and need personal support to get you back on track.

  • In person at Pointe Ahead Pilates, Edinburgh

  • In Person at Complete Movement, Haddington...
